Halloween & Harvest Mouse Taxidermy Class

In this one day taxidermy class, you'll be learning how to skin, prep, and mount a life-size standing mouse. We'll be going over all of the details so that you learn the skills you need to start basic taxidermy. This is a great gateway into the world of this unique art form!

Pricing: $225 ticket fee / if you wish to sign up with a $100 deposit please use coupon code "$100 deposit mouse" - the remaining balance of $125 will be due at the day of class. We accept cash, check, cards, Venmo, and Paypal at the day of the class for the balance due. 

Who: Working alongside licensed taxidermist Nicole Baldelli. She is the owner of the businesses Nikki Deerest Novelty Taxidermy and Lone Fox Taxidermy. She has over 8 years of taxidermy experience and a wide range of background with art and animals.

Details: This class is 18+ as we will be working with sharp objects. We do allow responsible young adults ages 13-17 with a signed parental consent form, signed at the class when dropping off. If you are planning to attend with another student, please send me an email to let me know so I can ensure you get to sit together!

Parking: There is a lot right behind Antique Junction with plenty of parking! 

What's included: All basic supplies needed to complete your taxidermy piece. As this is the month of October, I will have lots of fun Halloween and harvest themed props! This includes, witch hats, Halloween treat bags, and candy! I'll also have plenty of pumpkins and fall themed items as well! I will have a big box of regular props too, just in case you would like to create a normal taxidermy mouse. I'll also have on hand, wood bases to attach them to. Please feel free to get creative and bring anything you'd like to the class! Most craft stores have miniature sections, and if searching on Amazon or Etsy, the 1:12 scale fits mice perfectly!

With the purchase of your ticket to the class, you also get 10% off your order at the Steaming Tender Restuarant in Palmer, MA which is owned by the same family that runs Antique Junction, just show your ticket when you go. ***No animals used for my classes are harmed for the purpose of taxidermy. I work with breeders, friends, pest control, and fellow good Samaritans to source animals that have either died naturally or are a result of the farming/meat industry, and pests. All remains are used and nothing goes to waste.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds for classes. We do allow class transfers for $50 up to a week before the event. If you have signed up for a class and are not able to attend, please contact us via email at LoneFoxTaxidermy@gmail.com about rescheduling and to pay your transfer fee. The only exception to the transfer policy is finding another person to take your spot. Late arrivals of 30 minutes or more will not be allowed to attend the class. There are no refunds for no shows or late arrivals. There are no other exceptions to these policies.
